Don’t forget to feed the bees and the trees

Taken: 4 August 2003, Toronto, Canada.

The world used to consist out of earth and water.
Mountains of ice and mountains of rock.
Oceans, seas and lakes. And deserts.
Rivers and creeks.
Trees and bushes.
Animals swimming around.
Animals running, walking and roaming around.
Animals flying around and around.
Forests, woods, trees.
Bushes and grass.
And flowers, lots of flowers.

Now, everywhere, there are buildings.
Buildings of brick, wood, steel, concrete and glass.
And roads leading everywhere and nowhere.

Nature doesn’t exist anymore.

We keep animals in a zoo.
We keep nature in a park.

Edit: Thank you everyone, for the awesome comments and compliments. You are all auto-plugged below, hehe.

Note, this is not the Euromast.

Edit: I don’t remember the gargoyle figure specifically being there when I took the picture. Chance is one of the skills one should have when taking pictures, I guess.

I’m wondering if I already showed you this picture or not.
I know I had it printed at the photo shop.
So if I already showed you this one, I’m sorry.

Or can I just start over with last year’s pictures?
And show them again, one by one?

How many books do you own?
Or how many books do you have in your room?

Frosty the Snowman

Taken: 2 August 2003, somewhere above the North Atlantic Ocean.

With the upcoming elections (The Netherlands, next November 22, 2006), I sometimes feel the need to complain and join the discussion about current political topics. But I’ll refrain from doing that, for now.

Edit: As stated, this picture was taking somewhere above the North Atlantic Ocean. In an airplane, to be exact. And over three years ago, using a camera that I don’t own anymore (you can actually see the lens reflected in the window in the picture).

And Kenneth’s Back

Taken: 7 August 2006, Botshol, The Netherlands.

Here’s another useless picture.
Enjoy!

Edit: I guess I put too much red in it. The hay bales (hay, or straw, bound together) were wrapped in black plastic. Chocolates, eh? Anyway, thanks for the clouds compliment. That was one of my goals, to make the clouds look awesome.

More touristic views. Do you notice the windmills in the background?
