Graffiti bee

Taken: 20 July 2007, Barcelona, Spain.

Okay, this might not be exactly graffiti, but it’s a drawing anyway. On public property. Not sure if it is really a bee. Or fly or something. Who knows. Oh, and I don’t really condone graffiti either, especially if you have to pay for cleaning it. But yeah, sometimes it looks nice. The artwork, I mean, not the graffiti tags.

Thao: I saw it too, but I’m not sure if they are really Japanese, or some graffiti-style text. If you turn it upside down it could say “YES”. If it’s Japanese, it might say “フラ夫”, but I’m not sure if that’s right and if that makes any sense. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I’m currently doing some work on my website, it’s been many months since there was a layout change. I’m still looking for a working drop-down menu system for the navigation and such, all those technical difficulties don’t make life any easier.

The photographer is the creator of an image, a photograph.
The graffiti artist is the creator of an image, a graffiti artwork.

Who is the creator of a photograph of a graffiti artwork?
Yeah, too confusing, I know.

There’s a lot of graffiti in Barcelona. I’ve never been to other places in Spain, so I don’t know if the rest of Spain is plastered in graffiti as well. Oh, and apparently it’s a pigeon, not a turkey. How come no one else told me?

Here’s another one.
The mystery of the 8-bit figures.
Speaking of 8-bit, I’m still waiting for the 8-bit tie.

Does anyone know where these old-style computer characters came from and why they are spread around Barcelona?

I think this is in Casa de L’Ardiaca (Archdeacon’s House) as well.
The first flight actually leads up to the door of the previous picture.
I like how the sunlight falls down the stairs.

Does anyone know what there’s an upside-down hand print in the door?
The whole door does look very interesting.

These plants were actually growing on the cathedral itself.
Funny to see that nature regains little places of the human world back here and there.

I think this one is in the alley Carrer del Bisbe, next to the cathedral.
I like it. There are hardly any round windows anymore.
Not that I would like to have this one in my own house, it’s a bit too small.
